DATATAG NATIONAL RE-IDENTIFICATION TEAM


CALLING ALL VEHICLE EXAMINERS, SPECIALIST ENGINEERS AND EX POLICE OFFICERS!

 

Become a Datatag Re-identification specialist! We are looking to expand our network of ex-Police officers and staff to work alongside our Policing Liaison Team (PLT) to champion the importance of proven asset marking and registration and to provide support to Police and insurers

Come and work with Datatag ID, the market leading security, identification and recovery company.

We are looking for enthusiastic serving or retired police officers, with experience in vehicle examination and inspection, to be freelance self-employed team members. Working from home, you will travel to locations, to investigate stolen assets and re-identify the recovered machines for insurers and owners.

 

Main duties would include:

  • Arrange visits to dealers and auction houses to carry out vehicle exams
  • Examination of vehicles and machinery, including plant, cars and motorcycles
  • Identification and re-instatement of a recovered asset
  • Liaison with Police officers and law enforcement - Producing accurate written reports of findings
  • Supporting Datatag’s Police Liaison team (PLT) in other work

 

This exciting opportunity has arisen due to the expansion of the Police Liaison team of Datatag ID and involves travel to vehicle sites or customer locations to identify cloned and potentially stolen vehicles and plant that have been located by Police officers or by our PLT. You will be working within a very experienced team and would utilise our extensive database of asset registrations, available via our 24/7 secure contact centre or our secure online portals.

 

  • Successful applicants will be providing their services on a day rate basis.
  • We offer a competitive day rate and full training and equipment will be provided
  • Positions are available with an immediate start.

Join our IT Team at Datatag!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mid-level .Net and SQL developer to join our Agile team, based at our riverside offices in Staines upon Thames.

 

The Role:

As a developer at Datatag, you will work on various projects, from front-end websites and applications to back-end systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain full-stack software (.Net, SQL, TypeScript, Angular, WPF).
  • Collaborate with the team and business to design, develop, test, and deploy applications.
  • Respond to technical support/queries when required.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Any additional responsibilities when required.

 

Required Skills:

  • .NET (Core and Framework) and ASP .NET
  • MS SQL Server (T-SQL)
  • Angular front-end stack (TypeScript, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery)
  • Understanding of software principles and design patterns.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve

 

Bonus Skills:

  • WPF
  • Kotlin development
  • Jira

 

Salary of £35k - £45k per annum dependent on experience, access to self learning with Pluralsight, private medical insurance and two days per week working from home after a qualifying period.
